Packworthy 1.0.3 beta: known issues
Updated Thu Oct 22, 2026, 9:50 PM PT. Build 1.0.3 (4), Android.
Thanks for testing! Here's what we already know about, so you don't have to spend time reporting it. If you hit something that isn't on this list, please tell us with Send feedback.
How this beta works
- Android only. There's no iPhone version yet.
- Uninstall any old "Muster" test app first. The app's internal ID changed, so Packworthy installs as a separate app and can't pick up Muster's trips.
- Payments are simulated. The paywall and plan buttons are there for testing. Nothing charges a card, and nothing renews.
- Ads are placeholders. On Free you'll see grey "Ad · placeholder" boxes, not real ads.
- No cloud sync or account. Your trips are saved only on your phone. Uninstalling Packworthy deletes them.
- Weather comes from Open-Meteo's forecast. If your trip is too far away to forecast, the app uses typical weather for those dates instead.
Features that aren't finished yet
- Swim diapers are a flat count. A beach day adds swim diapers for a baby (1, or 2 if they overpack). They're not counted for each swim day yet.
- Your carry-on answer doesn't change the list yet. The app asks about bags, but it doesn't trim the list to fit. That's coming.
- "Keep for this trip / always / every trip like this" is coming soon. Items you add apply to the current trip only.
Fixed
Confirmed fixed on a real phone (Note20) in 1.0.2, the build 1.0.3 is based on. 1.0.3 is being checked from a fresh install now.
- N1: Tapping Cancel in "Add an item" on the checklist crashed the screen. No trip data was lost.
- N2: Ads still showed on a trip you'd paid for (simulated) while your yearly plan was Free.
- N3: Adding a third traveler on Couple said "A second traveler needs Family."
- N1 (small screens): On small phones, the "Add an item" box could overlap its own buttons when the keyboard was up.
- 1.0.1 retest notes: an older trip with no plan saved on it could still be edited on Free; a new trip card could show "1 person" when 2 were added; the city search box went blank when you came back to Trip basics; reasons covering several days listed them out of order.
- B11: "an overpack pack" said "pack" twice.
- B19 (mostly): the checklist now shows about 8 items before Done on a normal phone and 6 on a small one.
Still open
- Read-only banner wording: older trips that never had a plan open read-only (correct), but the banner says "below the tier this trip was packed on", which doesn't make sense for them.
- Small screens: with the keyboard up, the "Item" label in Add item is cut off at the top.
- Rain reason vs. forecast: a rain jacket can say "Rain likely on Day 2" while that day's weather card shows Partly cloudy. We're checking which one is right.
- 1.0.1 retest note: In the plan sheet (the plan button at the top of Home), tapping a yearly plan resets its purchase date to today. It's a testing control, so it only matters if you're testing plan expiry.
- B1 (by design for now): If you shorten a trip's dates, activities tagged on days that no longer fall in the trip are removed without a warning.
